Civilization V demo confirmed for September

Players who want to try out the new Civilization V before it ships to stores (like old George above) can now breath a sigh of relief. This week the official web site for the strategy game sequel confirmed that a demo for the title will be released sometime in September and sometime before the Firaxis Games-developed full title is released on September 21.

No other details like a specific release date or what the demo will contain have been revealed but if we were betting men we would guess the demo would be made available via Steam since the full game is using Valve's Steamworks tools for updates, matchmaking, achievements and more.
