Based on id Software's open source version of the Quake III Arena engine, Alien Arena is designed for fast deathmatch action in a retro sci-fi look. The new version (7.45) includes a number of graphical and engine improvements including character models in a new skeletal format, soft shadowing, better lighting, faster rendering and more.
