Mass Effect 2 gets new Aegis DLC pack

Developer BioWare continues to release paid downloadable content for its hit sci-fi RPG sequel Mass Effect 2. Today players can choose to download and purchase the Aegis Pack for 160 BioWare points (about $2) which gives players a new gun and a new armor set (shown above) for the lead character to use.

The new weapon is the M-29 Incisor sniper rifle made to take out enemy shields. The Kestrel armor comes in five pieces. The helmet adds weapon and headshot damage along with shield strength while the torso sheath and arm sheathing each adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength. The shoulder pieces adds shields and melee damage and the power pack, placed on the hip, increases shields and heavy weapon ammo capacity.
