We've been getting hints that a big update for Team Fortress 2 is getting closer and late on Thursday Valve decided to put in what on the surface was a minor bug fix update via Steam for the multiplayer shooter. However some people love to dig into the code after such an update and it appears that the code has some hints about the long awaited Engineer player class upgrade.

Steam forum members have found what looks like a code in the update that seems to be a message from Saxton Hale. More importantly there's also code in the update that puts in a golden wrench as part of the Engineer class that turns all of its victims to gold. You can see video of the wrench in action above the post. So the big question seems to be not if there's an Engineer update coming but when.
