Wonder Woman is getting a lot of mainstream media coverage today. DC Comics' Amazon Princess is getting a new costume (the first major change for the character's look in a long time) in the pages of the 600th issue of the Wonder Woman comic book, which is in comic book stores today. Her new outfit, which definitely covers up more of Diana's body than her traditional uniform, was designed by Jim Lee who also happens to be the art director for the upcoming Sony Online developed MMO DC Universe Online.
So is the new look for Wonder Woman going to be in the game when it comes out later this November? According to what a Sony Online PR rep told Big Download today, "At this point, no." The rep did confirm that the character will appear in the game as an NPC alongside Superman, Batman and the other DC Comics heroes but it looks like she will be wearing her classic outfit in the game world.

Thats a shame, I never did dig the whole "Amazon Patriot" look she had, for being part of an all-female society that shunned outsiders, they sure did love the good old US of A, enough to at least decorate a sacred set of skimpy armor to its motif.
