While E3 2010
is supposed to be all about good news, this week we got some disappointing news for a game we've been looking forward to play for a while. VG247.com has confirmed that developer Splash Damage
's upcoming sci-fi first person shooter Brink
has had its release date pushed back yet again, this time to some time in 2011.
The delay, which was confirmed by publisher Bethesda Softworks
, is the second one for the game. It was first announced one year ago at E3 2009 for a spring 2010 release and then was pushed back to fall 2010. With this latest delay, Bethesda's only game that it will publish in 2010 will be Fallout: New Vegas
