Today we are exactly one week away before the doors of the Los Angeles Convention Center opens its doors and the
E3 2010 exhibit hall opens to its estimated 40,000 + attendees. This week we are giving you a brief look at what games we are most anxious to see and perhaps get our hands-on at the annual trade event.
On Monday we covered the massive amount of first person shooters that are planned to be at the show. But there are a number of more conventional action games that we want to check out too. After the jump you can look at our list for yourself. One action game we were expecting to show up on this list,
Max Payne 3, won't be on display at E3 as publisher Rockstar Games has decided to bypass the show this year.
Dead Rising 2 - Publisher
Capcom teams up with developer
Blue Castle Games to bring this zombie-filled action game sequel to the PC for the first time at E3.
Tron Evolution - This prequel to the video game-based movie sequel
Tron Legacy will be at E3 via
Disney Interactive. Will it make us forget the earlier
Tron 2.0 game?
Mafia II - The game is just a few short months away from its release so
2K Games' E3 showing of the open world crime action game could be its last pre-release appearance before its released.
Dead Space 2 - EA's sequel to their acclaimed 2008 sci-fi survival horror title will be shown at E3. We are hoping for some zero-g scares.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed II -
LucasArts' sequel to their best selling action game will be shown at their E3 booth this year. Expect lots of Force lighting.
Kane and Lynch 2 Dog Days - It's another sequel game, this time from
Io Interactive and
Square Enix as they bring the two psycho shooters to E3.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - Developer
Crystal Dynamics is going to convince us at E3 whether this downloadable entry in the long running action game series is going to be worth our time.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood -
Ubisoft will give us a chance to see how this sneaker action game series will turn into a multiplayer title at E3 this year.
HAWX 2 - Ubisoft brings this Tom Clancy-based flying action game series back for a second run and we will see it fly at E3 this year.
The Lord of the Rings War in The North: Warner Bros Interactive attempts to launch the Tolkien-based game franchise again with this new action game at E3.
True Crime -
Activision put this open world action game series to sleep for a while but at E3 it comes back in an all new version.
Driver - Ubisoft puts this driving action game series back in the fast lane and the world will get its first good look at the new model at E3 this year.
Tomorrow we pick which RPG and MMO titles we most want to check out at E3 2010 next week.
