Publisher 1C Company is about to enter the pretty crowded off-road racing genre later this year with the just announced Off-Road Drive. The game, which is being developed at one of 1C's internal studios, is due for release in the fourth quarter of 2010.

While no screenshots of the game are available yet, Off-Road Drive is supposed to give gamers a chance to drive a variety of vehicles through the "worst driving conditions". In addition to featuring stock SUVs and trucks the game is also supposed to have a number of off-road prototype vehicles to drive in the sand, snow and swamps. A number of customizable accessories including winches, GPS and more.
