Company of Heroes Online has been active in Asia for quite some time, but it looks like US players will finally get a chance to participate in the fight this fall. The free-to-play game will allow players to create a commander that uses one of several different combat doctrines such as infantry, armor and airborne. As players progress, they pick up new commander abilities and outfit their units with upgraded gear.

Company of Heroes Online is expected to release in North America in September.
