Last month we reported that magazine publisher Future US (home of among other print mags PC Gamer) was prepping a new multi-platform print magazine. Now word has gotten out that the magazine will be titled @Gamer and is being designed as the official games magazine of retailer Best Buy.The Game Beat reports that the first issue of the magazine will be released in the end of June.

This bit of news represents just the latest in a resurgence of gaming print magazines at a time when it was though that the business was dying off in favor of internet media outlets. The first issue of the rebooted Electronic Gaming Monthly is now out as well as the first issue of a similarly revived GameFan magazine.
