Developer Digital Illusions is trying to support their hit first person shooter Battlefield Bad Company 2 with new updates and sometime early next week the game will get a sizable patch for the PC version. The game's official forums have posted up the lenghty patch notes for for the update which will come in at a pretty large 500 MB. There are quite a few bug fixes and adjustments planned including some server browser updates and a way to chat with your other players after your character is dead.

And that's not all. The developers are also working on another patch that's primarily about weapon balance changes. The Battlefield blog site has the details on that patch which will be released next week for the console versions and for the PC "in the very near future."
