Ubisoft confirms Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for PC this fall

While Ubisoft had already announced plans to release a new game in their Assassin's Creed series this year, today the publisher confirmed that the title of the game is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. The title was leaked by Kotaku after receiving some placeholder display artwork for the game by anonymous sources.

The placeholder art also confirms that the title will be released for the PC for a scheduled fall 2010 release. As previously revealed this will be the first game in the series with multiplayer modes. Details are still unknown but the placeholder art states, "Lead your own brotherhood of assassins, as Ezio, and conquer Rome." In confirming the news Ubisoft states that more info on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will be presented sometime next week.
