Singularity confirmed for June 29 release date

Activision has been pretty silent about their long-in-development temporal-themed first person shooter Singularity for a long time. The Raven Software developed game, first announced in July 2008, was supposed to be released last fall but got pushed back to 2010 so it wouldn't conflict with Modern Warfare 2's release.

However, GameTrailers.com has posted up a new Singularity trailer (the first new content we have seen for the game in several months) and at the end it confirms a June 29 release date for the PC and other platforms. Hopefully that means Activision will be promoting and showing off lots more of Singularity in the next couple of months. You can check out the new trailer after the jump.
