It certainly didn't take long for the fired co-founders of
Infinity Ward to relaunch themselves with an all new game development studio. Today
Electronic Arts announced that Jason West and Vince Zampella, who helped to launch the
Call of Duty shooter franchise, have started
Respawn Entertainment with EA securing the worldwide publishing rights to all future games from the Encino, California-based studio.
Respawn has
launched its web site already but it's as bare bones as you can get; it's basically the image you see above. While Respawn is now recruiting people to join their company their founders still have to deal with their former partners at Activision, who accused the duo of trying to set up a deal at a "major competitor" before today's announcement.
