It's been an interesting few weeks for players of Battlefield Bad Company 2. The multiplayer shooter from Digital Illusions has suffered from a lot of online issues since its release earlier this month. However PC players are finally getting some help in this area in the form of a new server software update.
According to a post on the game's message boards, the new version of the server is being installed in the server hosts. The posts claims the new version puts 20 percent less of a load on the server's CPU. It also improves hit detection and has other new fixes and features. Hopefully this change will make playing the game online less of a chore.
