Splinter Cell Conviction PC's release gets a two week delay to April 27
It looks like PC players will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on Sam Fisher. That is, get their hands on Sam Fisher's latest exploits in Splinter Cell Conviction. Ubisoft's latest game in the stealth action game series was supposed to be out on April 13 but now the PC port's release has been moved two weeks later to April 27 (the Xbox 360 version of the game will still come out on April 13)
Amazon.com's listing for the game has already changed and today Big Download has confirmed with an Ubisoft rep that the PC port will indeed get a two week delay. No reason for the date change was given.

PC gamers should never buy any games from Ubisoft. If they want to give us the finger, then we should give it right back. Don't give in just because you need you next fix of "big name titles". They are plenty games out there for the PC, choose something else.
We must not lose any ground. Ubisoft must be force to lose money. We can not give them money for including stupid things like their DRM. Let them pull out if they want to, they are too much of a console developer anyways. PC won't lose anything if they are to pull out premanently.Posted at 4:48PM on Mar 19th 2010 by Unknown

No worries Ubisoft. You un-sold me on this game long ago. Between the filthy in-game advertising / product placement and of course your infamous bullshit DRM, I had lost any and all anticipation for this game and had long ago crossed it off my shopping list. A 2 week delay doesn't change anything.
