GoG.com's DRM-free line up gets yet another new addition this week. It's Empire Earth II, the 2005 centuries spanning RTS game from developer Mad Doc Software. The developer, who later got bought by Rockstar Games and was renamed Rockstar New England, took over the Empire Earth franchise from its creator, the now defunct Stainless Steel Studios.

This edition of the game contains both the original title and its expansion pack Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy. You can download and purchase the game from GoG.com for $9.99. As we first reported several months ago the Empire Earth franchise is now owned by Rebellion, who have expressed an interest in possibly making new games in the series.
