BioWare's long awaited MMO game Star Wars: The Old Republic keeps revealing new settings and info for the game on its official web site like an onion shedding its layers. It's latest reveal today comes in the form of a new planet in the game's universe.

The planet is called Belsavis and is unusual for two reasons. One is that the planet is locked mostly in ice, except for some odd temperate regions where plants can grow. The other reason? It's the location of an ancient prison planet where a long lost civilization put in the most vile and violent criminals around. It sounds like both the Imperials and the Republic forces might have to deal with the threats that have been contained in Belsavis and are itching to get out.
