Even as Telltale Games was revealing the first info on their third season of Sam and Max, they also announced plans to release a collected DVD edition of their last episodic game, Tales of Monkey Island. This time the developer will offer folks a Standard and a Deluxe version of the collection which continued the classic LucasArts adventure series.

The $34.95 standard edition contains all five game episodes on one DVD along with some extras like a highlight reel with commentary from the development team, a production art gallery, trailers for the game, a collection of five "I Wonder What Happens" videos, a preview of Sam and Max Season 3 and more. The $49.95 Deluxe version contains the game and even more extras like a map of Gulf of Melange, a new card from the Voodoo Lady, a commemorative button and more. It also comes in a slipcase designed by Sam and Max creator Steve Purcell. The game collection will have both PC and Mac versions.
