GDC 2010: Deus Ex 3 turns into Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Forget about that game called Deus Ex 3. At GDC 2010, publisher Square Enix debuted the trailer for the newly renamed Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The trailer from IGN, which can be seen after the jump, is unfortunately all pre-rendered CGI but it at least looks like the game will keep its unique cyberpunk art style.

IGN also chatted with Jean-Francois Dugas of the game's developer Eidos Montreal who talked about the new game's time line (its set 25 years before the first Deus Ex game) and other subjects. There's also a Q&A supplied by the publisher that answers some of the questions about the actual trailer (the main character is Adam Jensen who is also your player character i in the game and the city is Detroit. It looks like we will be waiting until E3 in June to perhaps get some actual gameplay time with the title.
