If you decided to purchase the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack for the recent first person shooter BioShock 2 on Thursday you may have noticed that the download for the $5 DLC was really, really tiny. There's a reason for that; nearly all of the DLC was actually on the game disk all along. Naturally this has spurred a lot of discussions at the game's official message boards. The big question: Why not just give everyone access to what's on the disk immediately?
In a response, 2K Games' community manager said their decision was made in an effort to "not split the player base – so whether you purchase the new content or not, you can still play with your friends. " Of course there's another question that has yet to be answered: Is there any more DLC hidden in the game disk for a paid unlock?
