While players of Battlefield Bad Company 2 have had to battle issues with multiplayer servers going up and down in the past week, at least they won't have to pay for two new upcoming maps. Gamers who buy the recent first person shooter and put in their included VIP code will be able to download two new maps on March 30.
As previously announced the two new maps will include the Arica Harbor level in Conquest mode and the Laguna Presa level in Rush mode. While future downloadable content for the game may cost something to get, the game's official blog site states, "these packs will focus on expanding other parts of the game experience rather than the selection of maps available for the basic game modes."

Perhaps if you read the article, those maps are going to be available for other game types.Posted at 3:07PM on Mar 11th 2010 by sharper

Maybe if we had access to a map editor for bad company 2 then this would push the revenue even higher. i would pay for the map editor but refuse to pay for maps being created as its more fun to build to your squads/clan needs and protential new members ;-)Posted at 8:33AM on Mar 20th 2010 by MTG-CRASHBOX

This isn't really relevant here, since the PC version had those maps in it from launch.Posted at 2:43PM on Mar 11th 2010 by SF Legend
