Subtlety and deceit have never been major parts of the real-time strategy genre. You can't really trick your opponent or feed them bad intel when they receive all information from the front instantly. RUSE, an RTS from relatively unknown developer Eugen Systems, is aiming to change that. Since there's been minimal coverage and hype around RUSE so far - at least in comparison to bigger games such as Command and Conquer 4 or Mass Effect 2 - it's time we turned the critical Need To Know eye on Ubisoft's new RTS. It may not be big, but it's certainly worth the attention.
