Sniper: Ghost Warrior announced

City Interactive is a Poland-based developer-publisher who seems to be the master of budget (i.e. not very good) first person shooter titles. Titles like Battlestrike: Force of Resistance, Terrorist Takedown 2: US Navy Seals and Code of Honor 2: Conspiracy Island make the company sound like the game version of the Syfy Saturday night movie.

Their latest game is called Sniper: Ghost Warrior and it definately looks like it will be in that cheesy B-movie vein. Your character has been sent to help rebel forces defeat and overthrow the evil military government of "Isla Trueno". Your weapon of choice is, of course, a sniper rifle. Supposedly the game will give players some extra things to think about when sniping a target such as adjusting for wind and gravity. It's more likely that players will have to adjust to poor gameplay. If you are still interested, Sniper: Ghost Warrior is due for release in the second quarter of 2010.
