This Week In PC Games: March 8-14

We continue through a very busy March release time table with a stand alone expansion to a hit 2009 RTS game, the long awaited PC port of an open world adventure game and more. In addition to the titles listed below, Atari will release a retail version of Telltale Games' second "season" of its Sam and Max series (first released via download in 2008)

Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II Chaos Rising: Developer Relic and publisher THQ bring us this stand alone expansion to last year's sci-fi RTS game as it adds a new faction, the Chaos Marines, a new single player campaign and more. Owners of the original Dawn of War II get a free content expansion that will allow them to play online with owners of the Chaos Rising expansion.
Assassin's Creed 2: Ubisoft's acclaimed open world action game, released for consoles last fall, finally ships for the PC this week. The PC game, which uses Ubisoft's new "always on" DRM set up, contains the original title along with the console's two DLC packs Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities.

Order of War Challenge: Delayed from a planned release two weeks ago, this stand alone downloadable-only multiplayer expansion to Wargaming.net's 2009's WWII RTS game will add 12 new maps, six new multiplayer modes, four new co-op survival missions and more. People who already own the original Order of War game will get to download Order of War Challenge for free.

Rise of Prussia: Paradox Interactive releases their latest historical strategy game via download, set during the Seven Years War in Europe in the 18th century. You can download a demo of the game right here at Big Download.
Project Runway: Atari releases this PC port of their Sims-like fashion game based on the popular reality TV series.
