Digital Illusions didn't release the first Battlefield Bad Company game for the PC. Now we think they are regreting that decision because the second game in their first person shooter series, Battlefield Bad Company 2, has gotten a lot of players. How many? According to a post on the game's official message boards, the PC population of players is greater than the Xbox 360 and PS3 player base.
That's pretty good considering that the PC gamer population is supposing to be dying off and moving to the consoles. However there's been some server issues that have cropped up since the game's release earlier this week that the dev team is trying to fix. All in all, Battlefield Bad Company 2 seems to be a big hit, with a blog post stating, " . . . concurrent users in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 surpassed that in Battlefield 2 which has been going strong for almost 5 years."
