Ubisoft certainly wants the Prince of Persia movie to be successful if only to help promote their latest game in the long running action series, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands. Now Eurogamer reports that the PC version of the title has been pushed back to June, away from its console counterparts.
The report gives no reason for the delay but it's certainly not the first time that the release of a PC port of an Ubisoft published multiplatform game has been pushed back until after the console ports have been released. Of course with the current DRM set up for all upcoming Ubisoft games, many PC games will likely bypass this title anyway.

I am planning to buy this game anyway. "The Two Thrones" and "P.o.P. 2008" was a total f*ck up.
If they delay it because they're planning to put DRM on it. This PoP & Ubisoft supporter here (me) will not spend a single dime on it.Posted at 3:40AM on May 15th 2010 by U8MYR!CE

Way to be dicks Ubisoft. You yet again delay a PC sequel counterpart so that owners will buy it for the consoles rather than the PC. I'm not feeling any remorse for them knowing that their games are pirated, and that their new, crappy DRM got cracked.Posted at 10:35AM on Mar 7th 2010 by that guy rom
