Are you ready for some "Futbol"? Ubisoft hopes the answer is "Qui". The publisher announced today that they are enter the pro soccer sport game genre that is currently owned by Electronic Arts and Konami with the title Pure Futbol. The game is under development at the company's Vancouver-based studio.

The game sounds a little more action oriented than the normal soccer game with five players to a side. Players will be able to create their own custom character and have him go through the single player mode. The game will also support 1v1 matches online as well as four players over a local network. The game will head to the PC and other platforms sometime this May.
