While Champions Online has had a couple of live events since its official launch last September, the development team at Cryptic Studios have not yet released an actual content expansion. That will change in mid-March with the free release of Champions Online Revelation which will add a new location to the game's universe, the bayou city known as Vibora Bay.

The expansion is for players who have reached the 37-40 level plain and will add a bunch of new features and content including new meta-powers, five new enemy groups, over 30 perks and of course new missions in Vibora Bay.

Hey, has anyone ever though that Cryptic could get together with its former NCsoft members and do a big City of Heroes-Champions Online crossover? Nah, that wouldn't happen....could it?
