There are not too many PC games slated for a May release but one of the is Split/Second. Today Disney Interactive announced that the driving action game that has racers trying to escape from lots of exploding stuff is set for a release for the PC and other platforms on May 18 in the US.

The Europeans get the game a few days later on May 21. For some reason the European version of the game's title has a subtitle added to it. MCV reports that the subtitle turns the game into Split/Second: Velocity. However the PC US box cover, as you can see to the right of this post, has no such subtitle.
