It's a game that's been a long time in coming and now it looks like there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel. IGN reports that they have learned from publisher Sega that the super-spy themed action-RPG Alpha Protocol will finally ship out on June 1 in the US. Europeans get the game a couple of days earlier on May 28 and Australians get their copies on May 27.
Officially announced nearly two years ago, the Obsidian Entertainment-developed game was previously set for an October 2009 release but finally admitted to a delay to spring 2010 just a few days before the game was supposed to be released. With several more months of development time still ahead let's hope the extra time will be worth it.

Probably not, and Segas not gonna have a press announcement that its delayed until 1 week AFTER the official release date, leaving tons of fans and reviewers in the cold, just like they did last year.
