Released back in September 2008, PopCap Games's casual puzzle game Peggle Nights is still a highly popular (not to mention addictive) title to play. Now PopCap Games is conspiring to give all of us the full version of the game for free. However this is a catch involved in this deal.
It isn't much of a catch, though. All you have to do is sign up to receive the company's Passport email newsletter. The sign up itself is free and then you can send a free copy of Peggle Nights "to a friend or relative." Of course there's nothing to stop you from sending that free copy to yourself if you have more than one email address and we don't think the gang at PopCap will mind too much.

It seemed a bit glitchy to buy it and stuff... but it worked eventually.

seems they are being overloaded atm, took a lot of refreshing and resending just to get registered, and been trying to confirm for the past hour to no avail.Posted at 1:43AM on Feb 24th 2010 by David

Me too, their website is a piece of crap, pages don't even load correctly when they do actually work.Posted at 12:25AM on Feb 24th 2010 by David B

You mentioned it in the article, but yeah it's not even a catch.
Whenever a company offers a free game just for signing up for a newsletter, I usually don't mind. I even keep the subscription instead of junking the emails, since I think companies that offer deals like these must be pretty awesome.Posted at 3:14PM on Feb 23rd 2010 by that guy rom
