First BioShock 2 multiplayer DLC announced

The original BioShock had little downloadable content after its 2007 release (aside from some new Plasmids) but that won't be the case for the recenty released sequel BioShock 2. Publisher 2K Games announced plans today to release several downloadable content packages for both the single and multiplayer portions of the first person shooter.

The first such DLC package will concentrate on the multiplayer portion of the title. The Sinclair Solutions Test Pack will add two new playable characters, a rank increase up to level 50, 20 new trials, five more masks, and a third weapon upgrade for each weapon. The pack will be released later in March for 400 Microsoft Points (about $5) via Games for Windows Live.
