StarCraft II beta web site lauches; no NDA on public impressions

With today's launch of the StarCraft II multiplayer beta test, developer Blizzard has also launched a new mini-site that's devoted exclusively to the beta of the upcoming and long awaited RTS sequel. The mini-site is basically a central page for links to the newly launched StarCraft II beta message boards where Blizzard will chat with beta testers and offer up news and updates throughout the beta period.

One big announcement that's already been made is that, unlike most beta tests for PC games, this one won't have an NDA attached to it. As revealed on StarCraft II's message boards, "We're pleased to announce that we have decided to lift the confidential nature of the StarCraft: II Beta Test. This means that beta testers are free to show and discuss the game with your friends, as well as take screenshots, record gameplay videos, etc. So feel free to share that amazing game you just played. Enjoy!" Oh we will. We will indeed.
