Atari reveals latest revenue numbers

Publisher Atari took time this President's Day to reveal their latest revenue numbers for the first nine months of their current fiscal year. For that time period, which ended December 31, 2009, the company took in 92.5 million euros, a slight 1.2 percent decrease from the same time period a year ago.

Atari released their first MMO from Cryptic Studios, Champions Online, during that time period. While sales were up in the US they were offset by a larger sales decrease in Europe. The publisher just released Cryptic's second MMO, Star Trek Online, but has yet to give any details on the developer's third MMO game which has been announced but not named.
