BioShock 2 PC's lack of gamepad support upsets some players
Even though the publisher did announce that decision before BioShock 2 was released on Tuesday, the lack of gamepad support has apparently not made some of the game's players happy. Several of them have expressed their frustrations over the lack of gamepad support on 2K Games' official message board forums, asking the development team to offer up gamepad support in a patch. At the moment there's no word on if the development team will change their minds, although a statement on the message boards from 2K Games' community manager did state, "Not supporting the controller was not a decision that we made lightly."

Howz about AA support? Might as well have bought it on PS3 if I wasn't going to get Anti Aliasing.Posted at 2:02PM on Feb 10th 2010 by Jose
Everyone is different Redmist. Some folks don't mind the small loss of "twitch" performance when using a gamepad for FPS. I personally played through the 1st Bioshock on my laptop using the 360 controller and the fact that the sequel won't support the gamepad is a major drawback for me.

Why should gamepad users be catered to more than kb/m users? When consoles supports alternative input control, for all games, then people should demand gamepad controls on PC. Those people should stop getting annoyed, and might as well play it true PC way.Posted at 4:09PM on Feb 10th 2010 by Unknown
I really don't understand why PC gamers would want to play a FPS with a gamepad. Posted at 11:35AM on Feb 11th 2010 by Jon
This is nothing but dictatorship. They didn't try this trick in Bioshock 1. Now that 2K have seen some success they can treat the customers as badly as they want.
I don't understand one thing. Is giving a God forsaken controller support so hard for the dev team? I see no point in not giving 360 controller support when it was there in the 1st game, unlike COD series or Stalker which never planned introducing controller support right from their 1st launch.
Its plain tyranny and bullying customers. Nice going 2K. Typical lowlife cut-throat business houses.
I sincerely hope ur games gets pirated upto the neck and u loose all ur investments. For companies like urs Piracy is a fitting punishment. Posted at 10:48AM on Feb 12th 2010 by akshay

Using a gamepad to play an FPS is like using a fork to eat soup.Posted at 1:40PM on Feb 10th 2010 by Redmist
