While PC gamers are still awaiting their port of Assassin's Creed 2, Ubisoft is already making plans for the next game in the stealth-themed open world gaming series. VG247.com reports that during today's' conference call on their new financial results, Ubisoft gave some more info on that next game which doesn't have a title yet.
As we have reported on previously, this will be the first game in the series to have multiplayer features. Ubisoft stated today the game's storyline will be a sequel of sorts to Assassin's Creed 2 with that game's main character Ezio going after the Templars in Rome. The multiplayer mode will involve assassinating friends online( which makes us wonder if friends who want to assassinate you are really your buddies) but details are being kept quiet. In related news, the console versions of Assassin's Creed 2 have now sold over 8 million units.
