Japanese-based game publisher Square Enix seems to be avoiding some of the issues that have hit other game publishers recently, at least in terms of financial results. The company announced that for the first nine months of their current fiscal year, revenues were up by 31 percent compared to the same time period a year ago. Net profits were also up 48 percent compared to a year ago.
Square Enix, which bought Eidos in 2009, is now saying their full fiscal year, which ends on March 31, will see their revenues up 33 percent and their net income up a whopping 58 percent compared to their last fiscal year. Square Enix has Supreme Commander 2 coming out March 2 and Just Cause 2 under their Eidos brand on March 23
