The Grinder coming to the PC for Halloween 2011

Last year at E3 developer High Voltage Software announced The Grinder, a Wii exclusive first person shooter in the Left 4 Dead horror vein, complete with four player co-op support. Today IGN reports that the developer have made the decision to make The Grinder as a multiplatform title and that includes a PC version of the game (it's also coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3).

Our sister site Joystiq got a chance to see the Wii version of The Grinder at E3 2009 and described it as a game where, rather than being a victim, the player characters are monster hunters. It sounds promising and it also sounds like High Voltage is taking its time with making the game solid. Previously schedule for a late 2010 release, The Grinder is now targeting a Halloween 2011 release date.
