Capcom reports on latest financial numbers

Capcom seems to have weathered the current economic recession pretty well, thanks to some high sales on games like Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV. Today the company announced that their first nine months of their current fiscal year their profits went up a whooping 866 percent (that's not a typo) to 1.73 billion yen.

Capcom has already released Dark Void in 2010 and plans to release the zombie action sequel Dead Rising 2 for the PC later this year. Capcom also plans to release Lost Planet 2 in 2010 and while it hasn't yet been officially announced by the publisher it seems likely that the game will also show up for the PC.
