Today is the day that folks who pre-ordered Cryptic's latest MMO Star Trek Online got a chance to sign onto the game's servers for the Early Start period (the official launch date is still on February 2). As usual when these kinds of launches happen there are always some issues. The game's official web site has posted up a few minor issues that have crept up since the Early Start servers went live.

In the meantime, Cryptic has also posted up some info on what they plan to add to the game in the next couple of months. As you can see in the above screenshot the pesky Borg are going to make things interesting for the Federation.
