Although the main attraction of Napoleon: Total War is to follow the French general throughout his great military career, there's plenty of multiplayer action to be had too. Players will have the chance to come together in a cooperative campaign, and up to two players can form an alliance and make agreements in the turn-based mode. However, that doesn't mean generals need to play nice all the time. Drop-in multiplayer allows players to take over for the computer during skirmishes, so players can test their military prowess against thinking opponents. Last but not least, up to eight players can join in scenarios recreated from Napoleon-era battles to see if they can achieve victory despite having all the odds stacked against them.

Napoleon: Total War releases on February 23rd.
