CrimeCraft updates coming soon

One of the many MMO games that were released in 2009 was CrimeCraft, an urban-themed first person shooter title from Vogster Entertainment. The game didn't really catch on as a retail release so a couple of months after its launch Vogster decided to turn it into a free-to-play game.

The game's official web site has recently posted an update from Vogster's VP of product development Daniel Prousline who paints a fairly optimistic picture of the game's future. He states, "We have the confidence and the support of our investors to continue to operate and improve the game over the long term." He also talks about plans to add content and improvements to CrimeCraft over the next several months including support for 32 player matches, tournaments with "tangible rewards"and more social networking features such as operating night clubs in Gang Halls. Will CrimeCraft manage to bring in new players and keep their current ones or will it turn into another Fury and shut down later in the year? Stay tuned.
