No Dark Void PC demo planned
The full game is also coming to the PC but when Big Download emailed Capcom's PR reps to find out if the demo would be released for the PC as well the response was simply, "Looks like it's console only." And so yet another multiplayer game release puts the PC version on the second class citizen level.

I guess I'll wait for next years Steam sale to pick it up, if I do at all.Posted at 12:50AM on Jan 6th 2010 by Kevin
Well ok, guess I'll do the same thing I always do about a game without a demo.Posted at 4:11AM on Jan 6th 2010 by iHavepants {SteamPSN: Arkanti}
Pretty f*ing lame Capcom. This game is a gamble to begin with. It is a new IP and is full of unfamiliar game mechanics. I'm not opposed to what I've seen of it but I'm still far from confident enough to shell out $50 for it on the spot. You know what would help boost my confidence? Playing the demo. But no. The PC is a second rate platform and doesn't deserve nearly the same respect paid to the consoles. Maybe the game will come back with A++ reviews and I'll snag it anyways but more than likely I'll let it slide and pick it up for $10 on a Steam sale for 6 months from now. Capcom, if you are as serious about the PC platform like you say you are and want my gaming dollars, you need to try harder than this.

Lame. I kinda figured there wouldn't be a PC demo when I only heard the demo release dates for the 360 and PS3. Looks like I'm gonna have to grab it off the PSN.Posted at 8:47PM on Jan 5th 2010 by thatguyrom
