Duke Nukem Forever could be on hold forever but for a group of amateur film makers from Finland, the Dukester lives on. This week word got out that the team, calling themselves HMC Films, is making a fan Duke Nukem movie with a quickie trailer posted on YouTube.

The trailer itself isn't really what we would call a faithful adaptation of the game series. In fact it looks and feels more like a slasher horror movie with a woman in a school girl outfit being attacked by the movie's version of the game's Pig Cop (at least that's what we think that guy in a mask is supposed to be). We would have had a little more humor and a lot more light in our Duke Nukem movie that we make in our heads but that's us.
