More so than ever, the newest Command & Conquer 4 developer video demonstrates exactly how different the upcoming game will be compared to its predecessors. One tremendous shift that impacts both the look and feel of the C&C universe is that for the first time, humanity has finally gotten the spread of tiberium under control and can manage it as a resource. That means those giants fields of tiberium that have become almost signature to the series will be gone. However, players will still need to compete against each other for the resource. They collected tiberium will show up on set point on the map, and players must capture them and bring them back to the base. Or, in certain scenarios, they can be detonated for a devastating effect.

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight releases on March 16, 2010.
