Champions Online demo coming Monday; holiday live event begins

Cryptic Studios will soon be offering a way for anyone to play a small portion of Champions Online for free. Publisher Atari has announced that a demo for the super hero MMO will be released on Monday. The demo will let players create up to two characters and have them play in the tutorial portion of the game up to level 15.

In related news, the latest live event for Champions Online has gone live. Titled Attack of the Misfit Toys, the event has the evil Black Harlequin taking control of all the toys in Millennium City. That includes what you see above, the big honking mecha teddy bear named Clarence. The new event comes with new costume pieces, perks and new action figures.
