If you think you are an expert "coach" with your own Blood Bowl team, you now have a chance to prove it. Focus Home Interactive, the publishers of the recently released fantasy-themed sports-strategy game, have launched the official Blood Bowl World Cup where if you are good enough you have a chance to win some pretty nice cash prizes.

There will be two different tournaments. Players can qualify now for the Winter Tournament which will pick its 32 best players. The tournament itself begins in February with the two finalists flown to Paris (nice) for the final match in April. The Summer Tournament will follow a similar format with 32 players picked to join in August with the final two flown to the UK for their finals. Then the winners of the Winter and Summer tournaments will meet for the "Super Blood Bowl" in November. The winner gets $5,000 with $3,000 going to the runner-up.
