It seems somewhat appropriate that when you get to play Star Trek Online, the Federation side is the one where you would have a more story driven experience. However you do have the option of playing as the Klingon side. As revealed this week by publisher Atari, you advance your Klingon captain solely through Player Vs Player missions.

Atari and developer Cryptic Studios state that while Federation captains in the game can also advance through PvP conflict there will also be PvE campaigns for that side. Klingons just have the PvP gameplay which will include private and open team matches and War Zone maps that anyone can enter and have some PvE-like missions to accomplish.If that's for you get ready to drink some blood wine and prepare for battle when the game launches on February 1.
