The results have come in Team Fortress 2's Soldier-Demoman War and the winning side with the most kills is . . . the Soldier. That means the character class in Valve's multiplayer shooter gets the extra item. It happens to be the thing you see above. They are called the Gunboats and when the Soldier class puts them on in the secondary item slot they can reduce damage from rocket jumps greatly.

The full update is now live on Steam. In addition to the previous announced new items for both the Soldier and Demoman as well as the addition of crafting features, the new update has two all new maps, CP-Gorge (a new Control Point map) and CTF_Doublecross (a new Capture The Flag map). You can now play the game for free with all of the new content updates from now until Sunday and Valve is also offering the full game on sale for just $9.99.
